Six elapsed hours from hotel pickup to drop-off. That is the standard. The schedule below maps the hour-by-hour flow for a Dubai Marina winter pickup. Summer pushes the start window 60 to 90 minutes later, so the convoy skips the worst of the afternoon heat between June and September.

What should I wear to an evening desert safari?
Closed-toe shoes. Loose long trousers or a maxi dress. A light cotton top. A layer for the evening drop. What happens if I am running late for the hotel pickup?
The driver waits 10 minutes past the scheduled window, then phones you twice. If you pick up, the pickup re-routes to grab you up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time. The camp arrival shifts back accordingly and you still catch the sunset. If you go unreachable for 20 minutes, the Land Cruiser departs to keep the rest of the shared booking on schedule, and we re-book you onto the next available evening at no charge.
